12 week side by side comparison

I think they look about the same...my belly is definitely more fuller this time around (and I need a tan)

Week 12 - Baby K #2

          Week 12 - Austin

Baby K #2

Luke, Austin and I happy to announce a new addition to the Kautzman family. Baby K #2 will be joining us in September. My official due date is September 29th (I am 13 weeks today), however because I had a c-section with Austin, my c-section will be scheduled a week or two before my due date.

This pregnancy has not been easy to say the least. I have horrible morning sickness and as of my 12 week appointment this week I was down 3lbs. The doctor was not concerned as Baby K #2 is growing just fine and we were able to hear the heartbeat. I LOVE that sound. It literally takes your breath away the first time you hear it.

I am starting to feel better this week and I am hoping that the sickness is gone for good (I haven't been sick in exactly one week). My appetite is starting to return, but I haven't been fond of food lately so its hard to figure out what I feel like eating.

Austin is over the moon with excitement. She is already talking to the baby through my belly and I know she is going to be an excellent big sister. If she had it her way she would love to have a baby sister, but Luke and I have talked to her and let her know she does not get to choose and she may end of with a baby brother. I think either way in the end she will be happy. She has already asked if the baby can sleep in her bed and if the baby can take a bath with her.

Speaking of gender, at our appointment this week we had an ultrasound and we asked the tech if she could see anything. Unfortunately she could not and the one good shot she had baby's legs were crossed. She said that we are just going to have to wait for our next ultrasound at 18 weeks.

March Update

We finished February up with going to the Arabian Horse Show. The weather was actually a lot warmer this year and the attendance was a lot higher. For some reason not a lot of pictures were taken, but there is a good one of Austin and I.

We started March off with going to a Spring Training game on opening weekend. We decided to go see the Seattle Mariners vs. the San Diego Padres. As you can see from the pictures below, Austin definitely enjoyed her cotton candy more than watching the baseball game.
