4 Months Old

Wesley has turned into a completely different baby this past month. She is so happy and smiley. I really think us switching to formula and has been the reason. I went back to work on Jan. 2nd and my Mom started watching both girls on Monday and just Wesley on Tuesday - Thursday while Austin goes to school and on Friday Luke has both girls. The best part of my day is when my Mom sends me a text message saying how well its going with Wesley. I am glad that we made the bottle switch before I went back to work and my Mom did not have to struggle with feeding Wesley. The transition back to work has been okay, but I have been super busy. Plus I have a lot of traveling to do this year (I put it off last year due to being pregnant). It doesn't seem like there are enough hours in the day.

Wesley has been drooling like a faucet and we aren't quite sure if it is early teething or not. She is currently getting up once per night (which isn't too bad). Luke and I now take turns getting up with Wesley. I am not going to lie, its so nice to get more sleep! Now that she is 4 months we are probably going to start some sort of sleep training. She still really likes to be swaddled. We have tried multiple times to put her to sleep unswaddled, but she just cannot stay asleep or even calm down enough to fall alseep. The funny thing is that she unwraps herself from the swaddle and just this week started sleeping on her side or her belly with her hands in her mouth. Speaking of, my Mom introduced the pacifier to Wesley again the other day because she was sucking on everything and guess what!? Wesley loves it. We can even put her to bed not fully asleep and stick the pacifier in and she will fall asleep on her own.

Wesley's doctor's appointment isn't until Friday so I do not have her weight and height stats. Once I get them I will have to blog again.
