Since I blogged last The Kautzmans have had a very busy couple of weeks. I have been traveling a lot for work and have been to Oakland, Portland, Sacramento and Houston (where I got sick). It snowed in Cave Creek (Feb 20th), we took Wesley to her first Spring Training game, attending 3 birthday parties (1 adult, 2 kids) and Wesley turned 6 months old.
Yesterday was Wesley's 6 month well check and she is weighing in at 17.13 1/2lbs (79%) and measuring 27.5 inches long (96%). I always like to go back to compare her stats to Austin's. Both girls were the same length at 6 month old, but Wesley weighs 10 ounces more. This may have to do with the fact that Wesley has been on formula since 3 months and I was still breastfeeding Austin at this point. We also just made it through all the stage 1 fruits and vegetables. Wesley really REALLY does not like her green veggies. She gags and coughs if we try to feed her peas or green beans, but she absolutely loves carrots. We got the okay from the doctor yesterday to introduce meat into her diet and in about a month he said we can try cheerios and other small finger foods. Wesley is still being such a good baby, although she has been a little fussy lately and we are pretty sure she is teething.
